When you use our mobile application (the "App"), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

Please read this privacy notice carefully as it will help you understand what we do with the information that we collect.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the App, or otherwise when you contact us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the App, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

  • Account Data: Names and email addresses used to create your profile via third-party providers (Google Sign-In) or email authentication (Firebase). We do not collect or store your passwords.
  • App Data: Habits, quests, reflections, schedules, and custom text inputs you create inside the app (Firestore Database).
  • Media: With your explicit permission, we may access your device's Camera and Photo Library to allow you to upload and send images generated by you directly to our customer support team (via Crisp Chat).
  • Support Chat: If you use our in-app support chat (Crisp), your email and any conversation history is collected to assist you.

Information automatically collected We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the App. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our App, and other technical information.

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand user behavior, discover bugs, and improve the app experience.

2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process.
  • To save and sync your habit tracking data across your devices.
  • To fulfill and manage your support requests.
  • To deliver targeted in-app features (like Notifications using local notifications).
  • To analyze and improve the app structure and user experience.

3. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

We only share information with the following third parties:

  • Cloud Computing Services: Google Cloud Platform (Firebase Auth, Cloud Firestore) to handle user data hosting.
  • Analytics: PostHog to monitor feature usage and application stability.
  • Customer Support: Crisp Chat to provide customer assistance inside the app and via email.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

Our App offers you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Google logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile Information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, and profile picture.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information.

6. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13 years of age. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age, complying with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

You can review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

  • Account Deletion: You have the option to delete your account entirely from within the Settings page of the App. Completing this action will wipe your user record and database entries permanently from our active servers.
  • Opting out of Analytics: If you wish to opt-out of analytics, limit ad tracking via your iOS Settings (Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Tracking).
